Reflexology – Low Blood pressure

If all you need is a good excuse to go to get a professional foot massage then hypotension is as good as any other excuse. The human body has pressure points that are somehow intrinsically connected to different organs and glands. A reflexologist mainly works by massaging the pressure points in your feet and hands.

A good massage therapist can ease tensions that are blocking your body’s normal healthy functions and stimulate your glands and organs so that they will work better. Reflexology massages are not good for everyone, so those with severe ankle or foot osteoarthritis, leg or foot circulation problems, gout or pregnancy should avoid this sort of therapy. Certain pressure points in the feet, when massaged with vigor, have been known to cause uterus contractions; that’s why it’s not recommended for pregnant women.
